Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Machine Repair Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Machine Repair Technician reports to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor and is focused on preventative maintenance. They also may be responsible for the maintenance and repair of hydraulic, mechanical & instrumentation systems, including machine centers, by applying strong knowledge of mechanical technologies and principles. This position utilizes internal and external resources to solve operational problems related to the above systems and works with more experienced technicians to resolve operational problems with production machinery and equipment in the most expedient and cost-effective manner. This position interfaces with production personnel and may mentor lower-level technicians.

What you will be doing

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Work on a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling, drilling, grinding, polishing, buffing, and CNC machining centers. Assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies for equipment such as production machinery, production or development test equipment and support systems.
  • Aligns, adjusts dimensions and tolerances, trouble shoots mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions, using blueprints, schematics, and precision-measuring instruments according to manufacturer specifications. Analyzes more advanced test results in relation to design or rated specification and test objectives; modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.
  • Solid ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly drawings for mechanical systems or machinery

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years of industrial, mechanical, or electrical manufacturing experience required, or 3 years machine repair experience required
  • Machine repair experience preferred
