  • Estimated annual base pay: $58,200-$72,800 (midpoint)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Internal Auditor or recent graduate, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Directly support the completion and follow-up of control evaluations, internal audits, and special projects. Provide support to management for improving internal controls, compliance processes, and business processes.

What you will be doing

  • Testing and evaluation of internal controls, including process walkthroughs, detail tests of control documentation, management reporting and follow-up. Includes preparation for these activities as well as execution of the activities.
  • Perform general and specific audits of business and support processes, including preparing management reports and follow-up on audit findings.
  • Develop an understanding of Woodward business processes, polices, IT applications, etc. to support the testing of internal controls. This will be developed as part of normal control and audit work
  • Support preparation and update of departmental policies, procedures, audit methodology, and department tools.
  • Proactive with help the Internal Audit team and to improve efficiencies and support for special projects assigned by management.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc) required
  • At least one year of prior audit, consulting or risk management experience preferred
  • Experience working with a public accounting/consulting firm, or in an audit function within a publicly traded company is preferred
  • Desire to pursue professional certification e.g. CFE, CPA, CIA is desirable, but not required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
