  • Estimated hourly base pay: $19.13 (minimum) - $23.94 (midpoint) - $28.75 (maximum) All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're interested in the field of mechanical design, we have an exciting opportunity for you.Woodward is looking for multiple Mechanical Drafters/Designers to join our Fuel Systems & Controls engineering group.They will be responsible for design, CAD modeling, and drafting of new aerospace fuel system components while working on a team of engineers and designers. Work ranges from design of test equipment and tooling to drafting of piece parts and valves. We're interested in candidates with mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and basic manufacturing knowledge to join our team. All individuals with any level of experience are encouraged to apply!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborating and working within an engineering team to create design documentation for new mechanical component designs

  • Assisting in the creation of 3D models and drawings in parametric-based CAD software for complex fuel system components.

  • Participating in problem solving exercises to resolve manufacturing based challenges with new designs

  • Using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing as well as internal or industry standards to define component designs.

  • Working with Windchill and Creo Parametric

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma is required

  • MCAD drafting knowledge, general machining, fabrication and manufacturing knowledge is required
